If you’ve ever attended a football, volleyball, or even a basketball game at Nashua North High School, you’ve probably noticed the student sections at these games. They’re a sea of spirit that's impossible to ignore and impossible not to join. Full of the best students Nashua North has to offer, the student sections are the place to be at one of these high school games, and that’s because of the Student Sections club. Dedicated to empowering North's student body, engaging students in the schools athletic community, and evoking school spirit, Student Sections has been working for the past two years to unite the Titan community through energy, teamwork, and fun. So let’s take a look at where this club began and how they got to where they are today.
Starting their journey in 2023, they were a sub group under Student Voice, a club dedicated to empowering Nashua North’s student body and encouraging them to lead the charge in solving problems within the school community. They consisted of just eight members of the class of 2025, with the goal of spreading school spirit and empowering students. The club heavily focused on using social media, more specifically instagram, to promote themselves and celebrate everything they were doing. The club also ran various fundraisers, such as a basketball shooting contest, which is still going on today, to raise funds for new flags, new fundraisers, props, and other themed items to make the student section a brighter and bolder part of the crowds.
These are just some of the practices that were used to begin Student Sections as a club, and they’re still a part of the foundations of the club today. As of October 9th 2025, their instagram is sitting at 914 followers and has grown to support and promote each sports team at Nashua North, announce student section themes, and show off the student sections at these games. The instagram has become so widely recognized over the years that the page has been nominated, and won the club, New Hampshire Football Student Section of the year, two years in a row.
If you’re unable to make a Nashua sports game to see the student section, then you can find them at Nashua North as well. Meetings are typically held in D3; run by staff Advisors, Mrs. Rich and Mr. Tesini, and student leaders Lily Small, Kathleen Schreiner, Charlotte Wilson, Rosie Neveu, Emily Barry, Addie Munroe, and Kayleigh Lisa. You can also find the Student Sections at various fundraiser events such as their popular Basketball Shooting Contest, in which the winner of the Eblock event would get a fifty dollar gift card of their choice.
It’s safe to say that the Student Sections are going to be here to stay and are going nowhere here at Nashua North. Between their undeniable presence at games, popular fundraisers, and large social media presence, the organization has cemented a place for itself among the Titans community.
